The bad news – they are not in production yet. The people at 321 Water need commitment from 10,000 people so they can start the production process to deliver the bottles by the end of June 2010.

The collaboration between designer Chen Chun-Hao and artist Huang To-En have resulted in this traditional yet modern pair of bamboo glasses for the Yii collection, which is the Taiwan Craft Research Institute to stimulate creative dialogue between Taiwanese designers and craftsmen. These lightweight eyeglasses borrow the features and silhouette of furniture from the Ming dynasty which is recognized for its elegant and minimalistic design. The glasses are made entirely from bamboo with a patented hinge design developed by Huang To-En.

Today, Mr B woke me up with the saddest news. Our beloved cat, Chicane had passed on. He lived a full, happy life and to us, he was more than just a cat. He was a member of our family and we will miss him dearly.
Would we get another pet in the future? At this moment, the answer is a resounding no. The heartwrenching pain that comes with losing a loved one, whether it’s a pet or not is too much to bear. I’m still in shock and I don’t know how much of a train wreck I”ll be when the grief sets in. Right now, I’m just living for the present. Rest in peace, my little baby. You will always be in our hearts.
