Inspired by the ‘future potential’ of seeds, Retro Rainbow Rejuvenation exploits the properties of knitted textiles and a variety of techniques to explore the possibilities of reinventing interiors. By evoking an emotional response through use of colour and nostalgic ‘retro’ elements it hopes to foster stronger attachments to objects, so addressing sustainability. By Deryn Relph.
The Oppopet is a 3 button wireless optical mouse whose USB receiver takes the shape of different animal tails (“oppo” means “tail” in Japanese). When in use, the mouse takes on a simple discrete shape, and the tail plugs into the computer, extending casually as though a small pet is hiding inside. Comes in 8 variety tail shape with the likes of rabbit, chameleon, dolphin, fox, squirrel, dog, pig and cat (What? No mouse?). Designed by one of my favourite Japanese companies Nendo for Elecom.

..these Moroccan inspired bags! Each Moroccan style net shopper bag is enhanced with one central floral motif and skillfully hand embroidered with sequins of various colours. It takes minimum 5 hours to complete the embroidery! I want one!
A pen is mightier than a sword, or so they say. Choose your bullets is a desk accessory that reminds us that corruption and bad decisions can be more harmful than violence. This self-produced project was aimed at creating a product that would empower our decisions and reconsider the choices we make and the effects they have. Each piece is unique, numbered and crafted in a solid chunk of aluminum by industrial artisans in Monterrey, Mexico.
