Todays marks the end of a wonderful year, for me personally. I suppose it is the simplest things that makes us happy and I’m thankful for all I have. Here’s hoping for more of the same next year. Have a fantastic 2010 everyone!
Panasonic will release this compact and stylish toothbrush, Pocket Doltz in Apr 2010. Each is as big as a pen (16 x 1.8 x 2cm) and will be available in 5 colours – silver, black, orange, pink and red.
Toshiba (Japan) and Electrolux has teamed up for this ultra stylish-looking and compact vacuum cleaner. Weighing in at 2.1kg, the Escargot can be rolled around or carried using its shoulder strap. The Escargot’s snail-like appearance contains a cyclone vacuum inside with high suction power and the space between the large brushed aluminum wheels hides away any unsightly cable.
I love clever and simple ideas such as this. The Belkiz Feedaway is a portable, eco-friendly and lightweight version of the traditional feeding chair that can be pulled out for use as required and otherwise folded away flat, making it suitable for travelling and visiting where there is no baby/toddler feeding chair. It is made of cardboard, easy to assemble and meant for toddlers up to 20 months of age (and a max of 20kg). The Feedaway is made from recycled Visy cardboard, and comes with its own 3 point safety harness and is strong enough to withstand the rigours of travel by car, train or airplane.
Toast-its are greeting cards that wrap around wine bottles, as an alternative to traditional wine bags and boxes. The bottle also includes an area for a personalized greeting that stays with the bottle even when the rest of the wrap is removed. Wishing all my readers a lovely Merry Christmas!

This seems to be the concept behind Taiwanese designer Balance Wu of Creative Ahead. Don’t worry, it’s only fly-shaped crushed peppercorns. Makes interesting conversation for your next dinner party, don’t you think?
I can’t stand the taste of ice cream cones, which is why I love these porcelain ones from Passionately Curious. They are microwaveable and dishwasher safe. Each one is handmade by Virginia Sin and are totally unique.
