Mr B & I recently bought one of these Willie’s Cacao mini block, which was quite delicious. Personally I like my chocolate really bitter and high in cacao content and although Willie’s Cacao contains about 72% cacao, it was still pretty good. The new range also includes milk and white chocolates. Good things do come in small packages.

On my recent visit to the Farmers’ Market, I bought some of these tea cubes from Tea Drop. Each cube carries a luxury pyramid tea pouch of loose leaves in a variety of tea.

After 2 months of procrastination, I finally bought myself a jar of So! Go Caramel Fudge Sauce. And man, it’s G-O-O-D! Nothing beats the deliciously comforting and decadent flavour of this fudgy delight over pancakes and waffles, banana split, grilled fruit, french toast or even pieces of shortbread (yes, I tried that). I’d even eat it straight out of the jar! For recipes, go here.

Thanks to Mr B,  I now have The heart and the bottle in my growing collection of Oliver Jeffers’ books. Unlike his previous books of whimsical nature, this one is more poignant as it explores the theme of love, loss and coming to terms with grief. The message does hit close to home so if you’re a sentimental heart like me, have some tissues nearby.

I’m also thrilled to learn there’s an upcoming major motion picture based on this book. I can’t wait for its release. Meanwhile, enjoy the book!

On my recent trip to Japan, I couldn’t help but bought myself one of these little cuties. They are canal type stereo headphones by Elecom. They fit firmly in the ears, much like ear plugs and comes in 4 different sizes to provide low to high frequency sound production. Available in 8 fantastic colours and comes in both candy and gum shapes.

I’m sure some of you may have seen the coloured/printed masking tape that is all the rage right now. A couple of days ago, while out shopping with a friend I found some and it truly made my day! Mr B asked what I was going to use them for. Use them? Let me get past admiring them first. In the meantime, they look so pretty sitting on my desk… From MT Masking Tape.

This is my current luxury item – Radox‘s Shower Smoothies series in Natural Balance and it is so addictive. It smells deliciously of thick yoghurt and honey, with hyssop and almond bits. Bliss!

My first Etsy purchase arrived yesterday. It’s a bright yellow bag which I have christened The Happy Bag. After months of searching for the perfect weekend casual chic bag, I came across Bayan Hippo on Etsy and knew I had to have one of her creations. I love that it’s roomy, has 2 big pockets for all my girly things and a little key clip. Best of all, it’s HANDMADE!

After months of deliberation, I’ve finally broken free from my procrastinating ways and opened my own Etsy shop! I’m starting small, with only a limited number of needle-felted minis. The few days of setting up shop has been a whirlwind ride and might I even say, strangely satisfying. I’m happy I have accomplished what I’ve set out to do.
