Famed graphic designer Stefan Sagmeister has done it again! He has taken Levi’s Original button-fly 501 and literally stripping the iconic silhouette down to its raw materials, in order to design and execute an exclusive window installation for American Rag which debut this month. This collaboration with Levi’s has a limited run of 501 museum-quality, poster reproductions in all Levi’s and American Rag stores in Los Angeles and San Francisco area. Additional works from the series will be introduced in the coming months.

The Levi’s brand’s work with Sagmeister is the latest in a number of art-world alliances, including high-end apparel collections with The Andy Warhol Foundation for The Visual Arts and following the success of innovative design partnerships with iconic artists such as Damien Hirst and Shepard Fairey.
