The Piet Indoor Stove by Fredrik Hyltén-Cavallius is a fireplace with a brass reflector that burns ethanol fuel and not wood, therefore will not give out smoke. The elliptic egg-shaped, chimney-free indoor stove is made of rock wool fire insulation between the reflector and the outer ceramic shell, which makes it safer to be placed near the walls or furniture. Wonder if our cats will think this is a nice warm place to sleep in….

TBWA/Santiago Mangada Puno, Makati City, Phillipines won the Bronze Press Lion for this “Flowers” campaign for Pacific Paint (Boysen) at the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival . These print ads were created to celebrate the achievement of Boysen being the first and only paint company in the country to receive an ISO 14001, a significant contribution to the company’s vision to be the greenest in South East Asia. Using high speed photography, the design team employed strobe lights, water pumps, endless splashing techniques, a shower head, mixing bowls, and Boysen Paint to create delicate and dramatic forms of exotic flora.

This Vancouver deli probably has the best product related stationery I’ve seen in a while. La Charcuterie’s business cards makeover was designed by Rethink and meant to look like slices of cured meat. I also loved the butcher paper letterhead/envelopes. Two thumbs up!

I love illustrations on tea towels. These from To Dry For are simply outrageous! I would frame them like art work.

Raindrop Melody Maker is a new interactive game that enables you to make your own music. Click on a raindrop to play a sound that loops every 6 seconds. There is even a metronome to help you keep time. Just don’t try this at work..
Lite2go is an innovative lamp that eliminates packaging. When the lamp is assembled, the packaging itself becomes the shade for the light bulb and fixture contained within. It is designed to be versatile in use as either a pendant or a table lamp. It was the winner of a 2008 Bronze International Design Excellence Award (IDEA) presented by Businessweek and IDSA. Designed by Knoend.
